About Mrs. Page
As I was growing up, I should have known I was going to become a teacher. I played school in my garage with my neighbors and any trip to the store had to include a trip down the school supply aisle! As I got older, my love of education and teaching only grew, until I decided to get my degree in Elementary Education at Elon University. Shortly after graduation, I married my wonderful husband, Mike, and we adopted two dogs, Sadie (pictured) and Ellie (who came a little later). Last July, we welcomed our son, Mikey. We are all very active and love to be outside. Some our our favorite activities include: hiking, swimming, gardening and, of course, throwing/fetching tennis balls in the back yard!
This will be my 6th year teaching. I have worked in both 3rd and 4th grade. I absolutely love coming to work in the morning and having the privilege of educating your child. It is a job that I take very seriously. My mission is to instill a love of learning in all my students so they become life-long learners and productive citizens of their school and community. When your child enters my classroom, they will feel loved, respected, appreciated and safe. I firmly believe that parent-teacher communication is critical to student success. You can expect frequent contact from me on your child's progress. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at [email protected].
